Premature Ejaculation Problems? Read this.

By James Ryan Toledo

Every day, millions of men all over the world experience what is considered a very critical mistake in bed: premature ejaculation. It’s an absolute turn-off for your partner. It’s a source of marital disputes. It’s a source of masculine shame. Premature ejaculation breaks relationships faster than any other sexually-related condition out there.

So what is premature ejaculation you might ask; who has it, when does it happen and how can it be cured?

Premature ejaculation is a condition in which a male reaches climax before his partner does in any sexual act. This is frustrating for both partners, especially on females which have a very different sexual arousal mechanisms than males. Ideally, both partners should reach climax or what is more commonly known as orgasm at the same time. This feeling puts both partners at ease and parts a sense of gratification on both sides.

Let us first talk about how each sex differs when it comes to sexual stimulation. Males are almost instantly aroused by mere visual stimulus; the mere sight of a woman’s naked body is enough to get a man going. Women on the other hand are aroused through a mix of signals coming from all of their sense; scientific studies point out the sense of touch and smell in particular. The short side of things: men get turned on faster than women, ergo, men usually climax sooner than women on sexual intercourse.

Now here comes the problem of premature ejaculation: studies have shown that this is more of a psychological condition rather than a physical one. Young, inexperienced males understandably have this condition due to their anxiety during the first few incidences of intercourse. For older men, premature ejaculation is eminent when he has qualms about his sexual partner; newly developed relationships leading to a first time encounter with a newfound partner often triggers this condition.

There are proven ways of preventing premature ejaculation though. Since premature ejaculation is more of a state of mind, men suffering from this should try to divert their minds off from the act rather than be conscious about it all the while. This should prompt the male brain to at least delay the ejaculation response to the penis. Another simple way of delaying ejaculation is the popular squeeze technique: as the male experiences orgasmic spasms, he should promptly stop and let his female partner squeeze the area just under the glans or the head of the penis for a few seconds. This should mellow out the spasms and both male and female can then resume foreplay. The squeeze method can be done as often as a man can endure it and in most cases, this method works for about two or three times in a session.
